Thanksgiving 5k. 🦃🏃‍♀️ Thanksgiving 5k. 🦃🏃‍♀️
Our oldest son @nathanroskelley is engaged to @ver Our oldest son @nathanroskelley is engaged to @veronicahope_art , a beautiful girl from Oaxaca, Mexico. So when they told us they were hosting a traditional engagement party at her house, we had to attend! Traditional Mexican engagement party included 🔹Gifts from the grooms family to the brides parents of fruit, bread, flowers and a turkey. 🔹Dancing with the turkey. 🔹throwing candy to the guests. 🔹A speech from each parent and @waderoskell asking permission for his son to marry their daughter. 🔹Dinner and cake! 🔹And lots of dancing. It was great for us to get out of our comfort zone. We practiced our Spanish with very patient and kind members of @veronicahope_art s family. Then we danced and partied for 7 HOURS! Yes, the longest party @waderoskell and I have ever attended. And when we left, it was still going. Wade and I left with a terrible karaoke performance of Journey. Don't stop believing. Because I googled "easiest karaoke song". We definitely had a weekend we will never forget. And the wedding is going to be even more epic! No wedding date yet though because Visa's are very slow!!

Hiked Timp today. ♥️ . Added 2 miles for parki Hiked Timp today. ♥️ . Added 2 miles for parking the car 1 mile away from the trailhead and taking a short "wrong turn". 😂
