When all your kids are school age, and your husband works an un-traditional schedule, you can do fun things, like go snowboarding on a weekday! We signed up for a snowboarding lesson through Park City. It was a gorgeous day, probably 40 degrees and blue skies. We had 5 people in our class. We learned …

Science Fair
This year I was a little more involved helping Nathan with his science fair project. I’m the type of mother who believed my kids should do their projects, homework, etc. on their own. I’m usually standing in the wings to assist, but they are capable, so I usually bow out and pursue other things.. like …
Keeping Track
I only slept 4 hours last night thinking about this blog. Normally, I’m an 8 + hour sleeper. Not last night. I kept thinking I need to keep a record for myself. I feel the need to document the things that keep me physically and mentally healthy. I feel the need to write, and in …
Arches and Halloween
We spent Thursday in Arche’s National Park! We had a fabulous tour of The Fiery Furnace, guided by a park ranger. We also did our own hike up to Delicate Arch. This year for Halloween we had an inmate, a baby, and a Star Wars Clone.
Wrapping up our week with Fumiko and Anna

The Irrigation Pond
The best part about living in our house is the pond and field behind our house. The kids were super bored today, so Wade blew up the rafts and took them to the water. It was super cold in the water, but they liked it.
Alpine Slides
Courtesy of the good folks at a blogging conference, Wade and the kids came up to park city for a BBQ dinner (sponsored by Busch’s Beans) and riding the Alpine Slides! We had so much fun. We rode the lift to the top of the mountain, which was gorgeous. Then raced down the mountain on …
Guess What I saw
This year’s Lehi Round Up Parade theme was, “Guess What I Saw”. Our ward’s float was “The Three Little Pigs”. Since all three of the kids were in the parade, and Wade was at work, I was on my own for parade viewing. Luckily I saw mom and Bruce along the parade route and sat …
